1.1 million hours of incident free work for local company

Mammoet recently achieved a huge safety milestone.

In a high risk work environment, Mammoet has managed to reach 1.1 million hours of work without incidents.
Since 2004, Mammoet has been on site at Shell Scotford’s Fort Saskatchewan location for maintenance, projects and turnaround work.
“We work up to 70 cranes at one time on site, ranging up to 620 ton and as small as nine ton,,” said Ron Hynes, marketing manager with Mammoet Canada.
“Our incident and injury free culture is woven into everything we do,” said Mammoet Site Supervisor Rick Thomas. “We are proud to be working together with a partner that shares our safety philosophy.”
Hynes added that their dedication and strong partnerships have made this achievement possible.
